Out-of-body experiences have always fascinated us. We can trace its origins back to shamans that lived at least 20,000 years ago. There is a way we can determine which of the other dimensions or planes we are on. Here is a summary of the other dimensions.
THE ASTRAL PLANE
All buildings on this dimension appear immense in size and almost beyond description.
Psychic phenomena (ghosts, telepathy, clairvoyance, telekinesis, etc.) originate here. The astral plane is divided into the lower and upper astral planes. The lower astral plane is where a soul who has lived rather evil or completely dysfunctional life would go upon clinical death. There are demonic entities on this dimension, and many who have traveled here would equate it with Hell. You are in no danger of entering this dimension as long as you are protected by the white light and/or use my CDs. Christians would describe this as purgatory, or the bardo state of the Tibetans, as there is no possibility of spiritual growth here.
The upper astral plane is a far more beautiful and desirable dimension. You create your own reality by using your imagination to immortalize form. Emotions run high on this plane. Our soul goes here, for most people, following physical death on the earth plane. The roar of the sea is the sound characteristic of this dimension.
THE CAUSAL PLANE
The causal plane is the location of our akashic records. These records are a detailed account of all our past, present, parallel and future lives. The progression of our soul’s spiritual growth is reflected in these records. In addition, each lesson we have learned and failed to attain are kept on file. You may access these records on any of the other planes. The tinkling of bells can be heard when you voyage to this dimension.
THE MENTAL PLANE
The “Aum” or “Om” sound originates here.
On the mental plane thought, philosophy, ethics, moral teaching and intellectual functions dominate. Masters on the physical plane (Jesus, Buddha, etc.) do their work here during their waking state when they occupied a physical body. Most of the time these and current day Masters are out of the physical body and residing on the mental plane. The God(s) of orthodox religion is/are located here. The soil here is blue and is used to build their roads, which have a deep blue appearance. All inhabitants of this plane wear a white flowing cloak and give the appearance of angels. The sound of running water is heard on this plane.
ETHERIC PLANE
Truth and beauty are the most significant lessons our soul learns on the etheric plane. This plane is the source of our subconscious and primitive thoughts. This dimension appears flat to the soul traveler due to its vast size. Brilliant white lights dominate the sky of this plane, and the sound of buzzing bees is heard continuously.
THE SOUL PLANE
The soul plane is the ultimate destination of the soul upon its death on any of the lower five planes. This dimension is not one of the lower planes, and it is from here that we eventually ascend. It is here where our Higher Self and Masters and Guides educate us and assist us in the selection of our next lifetime. We may access our akashic records from the causal plane here on the soul plane with the help of our spiritual advisors. The sound of a single note from a flute is characteristic of this plane.
AN ASTRAL VOYAGE SAVES A LIFE BY SEEING INTO FUTURE
Many people who are not particularly interested in metaphysics in any form ask me why my patients want to leave their body. Their initial concern is danger.
In my experience of over 30 years of astral voyaging , and working with thousands of patients to train them to leave their body, I have never experienced or heard of any type of harm resulting from these techniques. Just the opposite occurs. The elimination of fear of death and the resolution of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues are what I observe daily as a result of these OBEs. To this I must add the many thousands of people who astrally voyaged by simply purchasing my CDs and informed me of their results.
The case I will now describe illustrates one of the most dramatic advantages of this experience. This patient named Tami saved her physical plane life by astral voyaging.
Tami had just graduated from college in June of 1996. She lived in New York and came to my Los Angeles office to learn how to leave her body. I completed her training by the second week in June, and she returned to New York.
One issue Tami had was what to do during the summer, as she was entering graduate school that September. She did not tell me about this until much later that year. After a few days of contemplation, Tami decided to travel to Europe and spend the last half of the summer there.
She practiced the technique we worked on during her stay in Los Angeles, and became a fairly experienced voyager by the month of July. At that time she decided to fly to Paris first, as some of her friends were there and wanted her to join them on their European trip.
Tami visited the Learning Temple of Askleposis on the astral plane and viewed her akashic records. She was able to report glimpses of her future. One thing that shocked her was the foreknowledge that she was destined to die on her way to Paris.
This at first bothered Tami. She became excited about going to Europe, but her astral voyages had already demonstrated their accuracy in a few previous trips, during which she was able to see into the future and effect minor changes in her life.
Her solution was to not leave for Europe until the end of July. Tami’s original plans called for her leaving New York on July 17th on TWA flight 800. I’m sure this flight will be familiar to you. It crashed and killed all 230 passengers and crew.
Had Tami ignored the information she obtained from her OBE, she would be there now, only she wouldn’t be returning to the physical plane as Tami. She would have died and crossed into spirit with a severed silver cord.
Tami was very thankful to me when she called my office to inform me of these events. I didn’t hear from her until September, and tried to reiterate the fact that it was her abilities and spiritual growth that saved her life, not me. I merely trained her.
Quantum physics demonstrates that we live in a space-time continuum in which all events occur simultaneously. The Astral Plane has no time concept as we know it on Earth.
